Submissions for the 2026 Play Lab will open on August 18. There will be a link here to our online submission platform. Alaskans and past participants have until November 3 to submit. The Conference will consider the first 300 submissions from playwrights who don’t meet either of those criteria. 

Selected authors must register for the Conference (June 6-13, 2026) and be present for the reading in Valdez, Alaska. Registration is $200 (including all activities, a 2-hour glacier cruise, and daily lunch). Getting to Valdez is the playwrights’ responsibility. Minimal free communal housing is available.
